The Sound were a Post-punk / New Wave band from South London, UK active between 1979 and 1988. 3 of the original members (Adrian Borland, Bi Marshall, Colvin ‚Max‘ Mayers‘) have died since.

This BBC session features songs from their first two albums ‚Jeopardy‘ (1980) and ‚From the Lions Mouth‘ (1981), both released by Korova, a label originally founded as an outlet for Echo & the Bunnymen in 1979.

It contains fan favourites ‚Heartland‘, ‚New Dark Age‘ and others.
