Captured live at the Hope and Anchor pub in Islington, North London on 22 November 1977, this set documents an entire show by the band on a night that has gone down as one of their most memorable.

The concert opened the Front Row Festival, a run of shows featuring artists who were regulars at the venue throughout 1977. There’s a real sense of occasion here, with the band playing to a room that knew them well.

Many of the songs that night were played by request, so the band rehearsed their full catalogue in advance. That mix of spontaneity and preparation gives the performance its spark, and makes this a brilliant snapshot of a key moment.
