Lars Bygden is a newcomer in mainland Europe. Some people might know him from his duet
with Norwegian singer Ane Brun, “This Road”. In his home country Sweden Bygden has already released a number of albums. In 1999 he recorded his first album, together with alt-country-band The thousand Dollar Playboys. In 2005 his solo debut followed. Nowhis third album “LB” is about to be released and it is his strongest effort so far: abundant arrangements, warms sounds and disarmingly honest lyrics. The album was produced by Tobias Fröberg (Ane Brun, Rebekka Karijord). “LB” includes two duets with Nashville legend Sharon Vaughan and a cover version of Syd Barretts “Dark Globe”.
